One research partnership, on one real problem
We work with one partner at a time on a question that matters to them. The time box, the scope and the fee are fixed before we start.
- One real problem
- A question your team actually needs answered, not a demonstration.
- A fixed time box
- [N] weeks, agreed at the start.
- A fixed scope and fee band
- [$X–$Y], agreed in writing before work begins.
- What we need from you
- Access to the data the question depends on, one person who owns the question, and an hour a week of their time.
How it runs
We name what success looks like before we start.
Agree the question and the measure
We write down the question, the measure of success and how it will be checked.
Work on your data
We work on your data with your team, and report progress against the measure.
Readout against the measure
We report what we found, how sure we are, and how the result compares with the measure agreed in week 0.
We promise the process: a clear question, a measure agreed in advance and an honest readout. We can't promise the result, so that every readout stays a true account of what we found.
